About
Chris Breheny, aka Moncrieff, began his musical journey as a teenager after the tragic loss of his older brother and sister. Music had become the vessel that the burgeoning artist used to process emotions that at that point were threatening to overwhelm him. Relocating from Berlin to London, Breheny later called time on law studies and started songwriting full-time, with immense dedication. Moncrieff grew up loving Soul and Blues music, his sound is a modern spin on these genres – driven by his stadium-sized vocal.
