The city's football team is Brighton & Hove Albion, nicknamed The Seagulls and their games are played at the American Express Community Stadium also known as The Amex.

The stadium is in Falmer on the outskirts of the city, it is easy to get to by public transport as Falmer station is only a 10 minute journey from Brighton with four trains an hour. The stadium has a 30,000+ capacity and includes a family stand and even a singing section!

The city's football club was founded in 1901 and since then it has had its ups and downs - from trophies to relegations - but throughout the fans loyalty has never wavered, including one of the club's biggest fans FatBoy Slim! Since promotion to the Premier League in 2017 the club has gained an international following wth fans groups from America to Australia.
