Brighton Sundae is back for another daytime dance session, with special guest, Daisha.
Daisha is one of the hottest names on the electronic music circuit, with supreme selections and an ability to keep a dancefloor moving. And if youve spent time downstairs at Patterns late into the night, youll know that Daisha is a bit of a legend in the rave cave, having started her career as a longstanding Patterns resident DJ.
Shes since taken her supreme mixing skills to Ministry of Sound, We Out Here festival, Love Supreme, Oslo in Hackney, Paloma in Berlin, Keep Hush and many more, with a unique blend of funk, Nu-Jazz, Breakbeat, and UK Funky house. Shes shared the booth with the likes of Joy Orbison, Gilles Peterson, Craig Charles, Zed Bias, K-Lone and Afriquoi. Daishas sound is always upbeat and we think itll make just as much sense at 4pm as at 4am!
Completing the line up are our Brighton Sundae residents, Mr Dan and D-Novo. Mr Dan has held many residencies in Brighton at places like The Jolly Brewer and The Great Eastern. His love of Afrobeat and soul is always a joy on the Brighton Sundae dancefloor. D-Novo is Sundaes most eclectic selecter, equally at home dropping late night electronica as playing afternoon jazz-funk. His sets feature everything from obscure broken beat to Latin disco, weird remixes of old classics and a few dirty basslines.
Expect fantastic sound, a lovely mixed crowd and above all, joyful vibes. See you on the floor!
