ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course is designed to provide instruction and training to build asbestos awareness and is intended to give workers, supervisors, and managers the information they need to avoid works that may disturb asbestos/items which may contain asbestos. Legal requirements to manage asbestos materials in buildings will also be discussed.
This course is delivered by our University Compliance Officer who has been working closely with the Health and Safety department for several years and has a wide knowledge of the management of asbestos materials and auditing.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING
Employees whose work could accidentally disturb asbestos may be at risk of ill-health, significant suffering, and loss of life if the risks are not managed effectively.
