OctoberBEST is a restaurant festival run by the team at Brighton's Best Restaurants - a set of awards celebrating the city's independent restaurants and dining destinations. In October you get the chance to enjoy award-winning meals for a reduced price as set menus start from just £25!

Here's a few of the restaurants taking part in this year's event and a summary of what they are offering from 12 - 27 October: 

dilsk

A four-course menu at £35 per person available to book for lunch or dinner. 

Furna

A three-course set menu for £35 per person available to book for lunch or dinner. 

Riddle & Finns

Five courses at £25 per person. There is a menu for week one of the festival, and another for week two. This offer is available to book for dinner only at both Riddle & Finns in the Lanes and Riddle & Finns on the Beach.

Dishoom Permit Room

Permit Room are offering three separate packages for OctoberBEST. Bite and Sip - £30 for two; Bombay BreakFest - £30 for two and Permit Room Heroes - £25 per person. Check the website to confirm the dates each package is available for booking. 

terre à terre

Terre a Tapas for two to share, plus a 125ml glass of organic house wine per person, followed by pudding for £30 per person. Available to book for lunch or dinner.

Moshimo 

A set menu for two (plus bottle of red or white Austrian wine) for £35 per person. Available to book for lunch or dinner.

Burnt Orange

A welcome cocktail and selection of plates (all of the food below) for £35 per person. Must be shared by a minimum of two guests and maximum of six. Avaialble to book for lunch only. 

The Salt Room

A welcome cocktail and a three-course set menu at £35 per person. Available to book for lunch only. 

Fatto a Mano

Fatto a Mano is hosting a one-off event to raise money for Brighton Table Tennis Club and The Real Junk Food Project. Details are being finalised and more information will be available soon. 

The Coal Shed

A welcome glass of Ridgeview sparkling wine and two courses for £25. Available to book for lunch only.

Tutto 

A welcome cocktail and a two-course menu for £30 per person (or opt for three courses for £35). Available to book for lunch only. 

The Set

The Set’s full 14-20 course tasting menu at £35 per person (usually £90 per person) and a 10-course “surprise” omakase menu. BUT … The Set is not taking bookings on their website or by phone for these sought-after tables. Instead, a competition is being run on the Brighton’s Best Restaurants Instagram page and the prize will be a table for two on one of the allocated dates with the £35 per person charge payable on the night.

The Chilli Pickle

The Chilli Pickle offer is still being finalised but we know it will be something delcious!
