This autumn we want you to create your own #BrightonWishlist and to help inspire you we will be sharing wishlists from a variety of residents, each with their own reasons for loving this quirky city we all love to work in, live in or visit.
Today Hedley Swain tells us what is on his #BrightonWishlist. Hedley is the CEO of Brighton & Hove Musuems which includes the Royal Pavilion & Garden, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, Preston Manor & Garden, Hove Museum of Creativity and the Booth Museum of Natural History.
Here’s my #BrightonWishlist…
The Amnesty International Bookshop in Sydney Street just shows how well read Brightonians are, I always find something I want to read at a great price.
Who needs one good local when living in North Laine there are about 20 great pubs.
Escaping to the Downs for a great walk, great views and lots of history.
A bit of a walk out to Hove but The Urchin in Belfast Street has seafood to die for.
A busman’s holiday but I love the variety in all our five museum venues.
Thanks Hedley!
Don't forget to join us on social to let us know what you have added to your #BrightonWishlist
