Arrival

Day One

It’s time to head out and get to the heart of the vibrant foodies scene in Brighton, booking a Brighton Food Tour is a one way ticket to discovering the hottest and of course tastiest talent around. Hear the stories, passions and politics behind the products and best of all, try some tasty samples…
Now you’ve learnt about and eaten your way around Brighton’s offbeat indie food and drink scene you will want to head back to the hotel to drop off all your foodie wares.
If you still have energy, and want to see some sites the British Airways i360 has the best views of the city and a bar to enjoy a sundowner, alternatively the Royal Pavilion is a must see and home to the most amazing kitchen.
Head out to Brighton’s oldest restaurant and the South’s leading independent seafood restaurant and oyster bar English’s for the freshest seafood and friendliest service.
Veggie or vegan? Try Terre a Terre as an alternative, award winning and bib gourmand, offering fantastically versatile menus from quirky sharing plates to multicourse set menus.
After a decadent evening of culinary delights make the short (and slow) walk back to the hotel.
Day Two
Try something different from the extensive breakfast menu at The Restaurant at Drakes
After exploring the food scene it’s time to take a taste of our drinks scene, bursting with independent award-winning beverages, from craft Gin to unusual beers, you will need a guide.

With a bottle (or two) of something local under your arm, head back to the hotel.
A short stroll from the hotel is the Shelter Hall, a cornucopia of street food and a unique new pop-up food market that brings together an eclectic line-up of Brighton’s best food and drinks brands under one roof. The emphasis is on seasonality, fresh artisan produce.
Fancy getting more hands on with Brighton’s foodie scene? Brighton and Hove Food Partnership run courses on a wide range of themes, with guest chefs giving their inside tips on how to create the perfect dish.
Finish off your day with a trip to either The Salt Room a fine dining experience not to miss, or its sister restaurant the Coal Shed if you are in more of a meaty mood, you will have an amazing meal cooked over coals in whichever restaurant you choose.
When you have had your fill of exquisite food, head back along the seafront to the hotel.
