VE Day Celebrations at Brighton Palace

About

Brighton Palace Pier will host a range of activities – including 1940’s playlist on pier radio, old newsreel footage on a big screen during daytime, evening showing of black and white classic cinema and discounted fish and chips for service personnel and veterans.

Fish and Chips was an iconic wartime dish played an important role in boosting morale and feeding the nation, and it remains a fitting tribute to those who supported the war effort at home.

During the coming weekend, the pier will be decorated in festive bunting and free entry will be offered to cadets and their families.
