About
As the title of the main band explains they will be playing the "Songs of Bowie" covering many of Davids well known songs and album tracks together with a few surprise gems (The Laughing Gnome has been mentioned !) This fun set has been put together to raise money for the Motor Neuron Disease Association -MNDA - a crippling illness which impacts many and needs funding to develop its research and support of those affected. The accomplished musicians are all local who have been in various Bands forever - well lets say a few decades and leave it there -expect a great fun night of nostalgia and singing along to Bowie songs which for many of us is the soundtrack to our lives. Musicians involved are:-
Rich Sadler - Guitar and Lead Vocals
Paul Johnston -Drums and no Backing Vocals ( he cant sing )
Graham Vinton - Keyboards and Backing Vocals
Nick Szczepanik-Bass and Backing Vocals
Support on at 8pm from another local band BLUE SKY FALLING which you must not miss- an acoustic trio performing an original song set for only their 10th gig utilising 3 part harmonies and 12 string Acoustic only with influences from Talking Heads and a million others beyond.
