Happy New Year Scallywags! Why hibernate when you can party? We've gathered some of our favourite acts together to provide us all with a proper classic Scallywag Family affair to kick start 2025. Resist the darkest month of them all and come join the party, feel the love, friendship and the warmth of the dancefloor this January. We're back at our new central Brighton home with the doors of the Manchester Street Arts Club open and ready to welcome both regular revellers and new scallywags to a party you won't want to miss. As always, get your tickets early - our last 3 parties sold out in advance.

Expect a bringing together of light hearted lovers of good times in two rooms of live music, DJ's, walkabout performance, face painting, laughter and tomfoolery! Have fun with friends old and new at a proper friendly festival style party - everyone's invited! We bring the music but you bring the party! The vibes are high in our very special new home so if you're yet to experience one of our parties then now is the time to get involved as we showcase our favourite independent festival acts and DJ's from across the UK.

Doors at 8pm, First live act on before 9pm, live music until late, DJ's until 2.30am.

THE LINE UP SO FAR
Jimmy & The Riddles - A big sounding live rhythmic journey through the sunny shores of tropical Reggae, the infectious beats of Dub and the upbeat melodies of Ska that will leave you smiling and dancing. For over a decade, Jimmy has been the driving force behind the band, passionately curating a diverse group of talented musicians from various backgrounds coming all the way from east Kent.

Buddha Triangle - Hastings based Buddha Triangle write songs about love, sex and food. They appreciate the good things in life while at the same time providing listeners with a social commentary, delivered through thought-provoking stories of our modern world with care awareness and humour. Their main aim? To bring joy into peoples lives. They bring together an eclectic mix of genres to create their unique, brave sound; there's electronica, jazz, rock and hip hop that's performed with vim and vigour by a diverse and fluid line up of talented musicians.

Ben Jammin (solo) - All the way from Bristol, Ben Jammin plays original Hippy-Hop for the heart and soul. With jamalicous music ranging throughout all genres. Expect the livest of vibes spreading an abundance of PLH to make this world a better place.

Mr Unity - Southwestsiide frontman, Tom Warwick returns with a live acoustic show of reggae hip hop mashups as well as plenty of eclectic tunes DJing in the bar.

DJ Kameleon - Bristol garage and drum n bass dj with plenty of jump up festival style tunes to keep the dancefloor bouncing until 2.30am.

Polly Chromatik - Our resident face painting fairy adorns you body with her beautiful artwork with good times vibes

We have fairer ticket prices this season to help more people access the party and allow us to continue hosting events.
