The Rockwater Chess Club meets every second week in our Lodge where our boards will be set up and ready for you to play friendly matches, get advice from our facilitator Andrew, or learn the basics from Andrew who’s on hand to help throughout the evening.
Andrew Wallace has been teaching chess as a curriculum subject in Brighton and Hove schools for 10 years. He runs school chess clubs and tournaments and has worked with Age UK to bring the benefits of chess to older people. He is the regional organiser for the charity Chess in Schools and Communities.
