About
Observer will be Amy Dury’s 2nd solo exhibition with Cameron Contemporary Art and we are thrilled to show this wonderfully skilled and in-demand painter.
Amy writes, “Working from old home movies or found imagery, images arise that make me stop in my tracks. Hearing those voices from the past calling greetings, whispering encouragement, shouting warnings and offering insights….they are at once with us again, we exist at the same time, we can see and almost touch them. And when they smile in the bright sunshine, laugh freely with their friends or are seen thoughtful in their tasks, we can see what is in our DNA, what laid our path and what we have lost”
