Mums Go Free!

As a thank you, any Mum visiting on Mothers' Day can enjoy free admission to the Museum. Tickets must be pre-booked online for this event. Make sure to book Mum a complimentary admission ticket!

Get involved with various volunteer-led activities happening across the Museum including driving one of our smaller diesel locomotives and making a keepsake in the pottery, print shop or woodturners.

– Visit our craft market with talented local craftspeople demonstrating and selling their products.

– Treat Mum to a light lunch or cream tea in the Limeburners Café.

– Travel around the site on one of our narrow-gauge trains and classic buses.
