Goodnight Mr.Tom

About

A play by David Wood, from the novel by Michelle Magorian. Directed by Rosemary Nice, Goodnight Mister Tom follows sad young William Beech, who is evacuated to the idyllic English countryside during the early days of World War 2 and tells the tale of how he builds a remarkable and moving friendship with the elderly recluse Tom Oakley. All seems perfect until William is devastatingly summoned by his mother back to the aerial bombardment of London in the blitz.
Performances are Thursday 17 and Friday 18 October at 7.45 pm and Saturday 19 October at 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm. Tickets for Goodnight Mister Tom go on sale on Monday 5th August
