About
"Freezer Cake" is a delicious and devastating culinary play that delves into themes of family, love, personal choice, and the significance of food.
The narrative follows Marco, a young man with a lifelong passion for food. Upon discovering that certain tastes can unlock memories, he decides to leave university to pursue a career as a chef. This decision is met with disapproval from his academically inclined Argentine grandmother (Nona). The play chronicles Marco's journey to prove his capabilities to her and himself.
"Freezer Cake" was showcased at the Lambeth Fringe Festival and Camden Fringe in 2024, and debuting at the Brighton Fringe in 2025!
