About
BARCO (Black Anti-Racist Community Organisation) would like to extend a warm welcome for you to join us at our first event to be held at the Amex! This is an exciting opportunity for us, as it means we are able to host more of you than ever before.
For the first time ever this event is open to everyone. We welcome our allies to join us in conversation.
If you were able to make our Brighton BASH Carnival in the summer, you too would have experienced the joy that came from celebrating togetherness and community. We are still buzzing from this day and can't wait to share our vision for 2025.
In this ‘Building Community’ event, our guest panel speakers will bring the insight and the energy discussing what it takes to build a community and what the journey has taught them.
We are delighted to be partnering with Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club who recently launched a dedicated mural to Black alumni who have gone above and beyond for the club, which will be shown on the evening.
You may think this is just another networking event however it is so much more. By supporting this event you are supporting BARCO and Brighton’s Black Community to build stronger ties with allies. After the events of the summer with the threat of racist violence, supporting events like this carries huge impact.
Join the conversation and the community.
On the night, we will be sharing the details of the 2025 Brighton BASH Carnival with opportunities on how you can get involved. It's going to be a serious party.
Thank you for your support. We really hope you are able to make it!
