About

Coltrane's solo career was in its infancy in 1958 when he recorded this much lauded album. Hastings based tenor saxophonist, Josephine Davies evokes the tone and melodic lines of the great man himself, leading this sextet, with trombone wizardry of Mark Bassey, Nigel Thomas (bass) up and coming young guns Tim Wells (piano), Angus Bishop (drums), plus your host and trumpeter, Chris Coull.
