Autobiographical One Person Show
A man escapes an organised and controlling religion after it has claimed 30 years of his life and cost him his relationship with his family. Preaching the word to thousands in football stadiums and evangelising undercover in China, amidst 30 years of door-knocking, and all the while the sound of sexuality was knocking loudly upon his own door. Escaping from a high-control religious group is not as simple as walking away. It is a waking-up process that can take years. This one-man autobiographical show navigates such an exit and the subsequent delirium of walking into a forbidden world.
