Andy Davies is an award-winning Welsh trumpeter, comedian, writer, voice over artist, actor and educator.
He has hosted the famous Wednesday night Ronnie Scotts Jam Session for over fifteen years. As a sideman he has performed internationally with jazz artists such as Ian Shaw, Ronnie Scott’s Allstars, Guy Barker Big Band,Tony Kofi, Nigel Kennedy, Ashley Pezzotti and Polly Gibbons to name a few.
He has released several albums with the Andy Davies Quartet, most recently the critically acclaimed ‘Rise of The Spidermonkey’ which the London Evening Standard described as “more fun than a barrel of monkeys”.
His voice can be heard regularly on Channel Five, MTV and Cartoon Network as well as other tv and radio channels. His short film ‘Louis Horne:The Secret Jazz Diaries’ as one several awards including “Best Short Film Comedy’ at the London Film Festival.
