Africa In The Sunshine – Afternoon Event

About

African Night Fever brings the sunshine spirits of Africa to BOAT, with a full day of music, workshops, food and more, all celebrating the beauty of African culture. The day is split into two events - Afternoon and Evening. You can buy a ticket to one event, or a Full Day Ticket for both.

For the Afternoon Event, we have a magnificent family-centred afternoon full of live music, dance workshops, children’s arts & crafts and Djembe Drumming workshops suitable for all ages. Featuring unique African musical styles such as West African Afrobeat, Afro Manding, Congolese Soukous, and more!

Join the fun drum circle with Ali Bangura, move to beats with the whole body with Aida Diop, and be creative with Phati Mnguni in the arts & craft corner!

There will also be delicious African-Caribbean food on sale from the Soul Food Sisters all day long.

Check out the Evening Event too!

Full Day Tickets available for £25 per person.
