A Different Thread are back with their new album 'Call of the Road'. Eleven new songs about love, longing, and wanderlust.
A Different Thread's is fronted by the duo Alicia Best from North Carolina and Robert Jackson from the Midlands of England. They originally met busking in Ireland and have been on the road ever since, recording, and touring internationally. They have supported the likes of Jody Stevens (Big Star) and Native Harrow, as well as garnering the attention of the BBC and NPR radio.
'Call of the Road' pulls from the band's respective roots, weaving together elements of British and Appalachian folk into a timeless, minimalist sound.
