About

What is the 24 hour Musical? We can't tell you!

Why not? Only the Director knows.

Does it last for 24 hours? No!

The 24 hour Musical is so called because a group of people turn up at the theatre at 7.30pm on the Friday night and 24 hours later, they have to perform it.

When they turn up, they have no idea what they will be performing. So, in the following 24 hours, these people have to learn lines and build sets.

It's a big challenge - it's a tiring challenge.

The cast and crew have to work all through the night and the next day and somehow find the energy to put on a show. And to cap it all, they are doing it for charity. This year the proceeds will be shared between the Alzheimer's Society and Snowdrop.
