Cocktails are a great complement to a get-together whether it's a celebration or simply a long overdue catch-up.

To help get you started we round-up some of our favourite places for Cocktail Vibes.

Seascape at Brighton i360

Embark on a journey 12,530ft above the seafloor and taste the spirit of the sea with a menu of speciality theatrical cocktails.

The Great Globalls

Looking for something a bit more unusual? Head to The Great Globalls at Brighton Marina to immerse yourself in their UV cocktail bar!

Skylark at Shelter Hall

In addition to seven kitchens Shelter Hall is now home to a secret bar - Skylark - serving small plates & killer cocktails, somehow we don't think this will be a secret for much longer...

HarBAR

Whether you're looking for one of the classics or something a bit different you're sure to find it here, along with some fabulous seaviews.

The Mesmerist

Alongside the classics they also have some beer-based cocktails as well as their own creations including a Lemon Sherbert or a Tuaca Flip. If you're visiting at the weekend then head upstairs and take a trip back to the 1970s at The Flipside

OHSO Social

Enjoy laid-back beach vibes with a sundowner at this beachside bar and if there's a group of you then you have to order the Disco Inferno as it's served in a disco ball!

Lost in the Lanes

It's worth getting lost if it brings you to this gorgeous cafe, restaurant and bar nestled in The Lanes. The carefully crafted cocktails include classics with a LOST twist such as the Mediterranean Mary or a Apricot Basil Bramble.

Helm Gallery

If you’re looking for something a little different to the typical cocktail bar, Brighton’s Helm Gallery welcomes you to indulge in the fabulous flavours created by their mixologists, served in a smart, sophisticated setting.

Post House

Post House is more than just a cafe as they serve a mix of Classic Cocktails and Post House Specials including a Post Lady and a Brighton Spritz.

Bootleggers

This speakeasy-inspired bar harks back to the underground glamour of the 1920s and the cocktail menu has been specially designed to complement the character of the bar.

Brighton Music Hall

This beachfront venue is a restaurant and cocktail bar set over two floors and in the winter you can book a table in an igloo or a winter beach hut.

The White Horses

Enjoy the art deco splendour of the Discovery Bar at The White Horses, the bar has been so-named as their mission is to help you discover cocktails created using ingredients from local suppliers but will you order a Bolney Sloe Hedgerow or a Goldstone Mojito?

Rockwater

We recommend heading up to the stunning Roof Terrace, an all-year round, fully indoor space, with unimpeded sea views best paired with a cocktail from their carefully curated drinks menu.
The cocktail photo at the top of this page was provided by Rockwater.

Southern Belle

The front bar has traditional cosy pub vibes alternatively head out the back and discover the Cocktail Lounge with a choice of cocktail chairs, high bar seating and a fabulous ambience.

Dishoom Permit Room

The restaurant's name comes from Bombay in the 1970s as vendors could obtain a liquor permit ‘for the preservation or maintenance of health’ and these establishments were Permit Rooms. Let's raise a glass to our good health!

Arcobaleno

Built with inclusivity and connection at its heart, the sense of community here is almost as exciting as the cocktail list.

Mrs Fitzherbert's

This bar is perfectly placed for a pre-theatre or post-palace beverage as it's close to Brighton Dome, Theatre Royal Brighton and the Royal Pavilion. You can enjoy two of the same cocktail for just £13 or pop in on a Friday and start the weekend with two Margarita's for £12.

Victoria Bar

What could be grander then cocktails at The Grand? Try one of the show-stopping signature cocktails which come with their own unique story, inspired by The Grand's rich heritage and history.

Alcotraz Brighton

When convicted to Alcotraz, inmates are taken into an exciting world of mischief as they are instructed by a notorious bootlegger from the inside to smuggle-in liquor to be used to make delicious, bespoke cocktails. You won’t find a set menu of drinks here…after all, it is prison!

Cheers! 🍸
