One year to go until the Women's Rugby World Cup returns to England and we are thrilled as Brighton & Hove is one of the host cities!
Get the dates in your diary - 22 August to 27 September 2025 - as this thrilling tournament is not to be missed. While our stadium is usually home to Brighton & Hove Albion football club, it is no stranger to international tournanments either. Who can forget Japan's surprise victory over South Africa in the Rugby World Cup in 2015 or the intense quarter-final match between the Lionesses and Spain during the 2022 Euros?
The first tickets for the biggest and most accessible Women’s Rugby World Cup ever go on sale in September, we recommend registering your interest now as these are going to be popular. We can also confirm that England will be playing in Brighton during the pool phase.
It's just one year to go until the Women's Rugby World Cup will be back bigger than ever #ThisEnergyNeverStops
To mark the start of the one year countdown venues across the city will be lighting up yellow as we prepare to welcome this international tournament to our seaside city. Venues lighting up tonight (weather permitting) include The Royal Pavilion, Brighton Palace Pier and the Brighton Centre.
Roll on 2025!
