Brighton is great for families so why not plan an unforgettable family break together?
- This suggested itinerary is for a 2 night stay.
Day 1
Arrive in Brighton and check into the Holiday Inn on Brighton Seafront.
Right opposite the Holiday Inn, you’ll find Brighton Beach. Spend the morning enjoying some traditional seaside fun and if you’re brave enough maybe dip your toes in the sea.
For practical advice about visiting the beach, including information on lifeguards and facilities, please visit the Brighton & Hove City Council website and don't forget to check the Tide Timetables too.
Take a trip to Brighton Palace Pier for hours of fun with its fairground attractions, arcades and Brighton’s biggest indoor soft play area!
End the day with delicious fish and chips from the Palm Court Restaurant on Brighton Palace Pier
Day 2
Get set for the busy day ahead and grab some delicious Breakfast pastries and coffee from Flour Pot Bakery.
Enjoy a fascinating journey through the Victorian architecture of the oldest operating aquarium in the world. SEA LIFE Brighton was built in 1872 and features 5,500 mesmerising creatures including Rays, Sharks, Turtles, Terrapins, Star Fish, Seahorses and an Anaconda!
Next up, take a ride to Brighton Marina on the Volks Electric Railway, the world’s oldest working electric railway. The train runs every 15 minutes so hop on at the Aquarium Station to the Brighton Marina for an easy cruise along Brighton seafront.
Once at Brighton Marina, you’ll want to visit Globalls Mini Golf for an afternoon of fun, surrounded by ultraviolet Dinosaurs! This unique imaginative course is a winner for adults & children.
Head back to the hotel and refuel at Stock Burger, located at the Holiday Inn. You can enjoy some of Brighton’s best Burgers, Craft Beer and Cocktails!
Day 3
Get set to explore some of Brighton’s incredible Countryside. Stanmer Park is the city's largest park and great for a day out with the Kids. Stanmer Park lies within the South Downs National Park so pack a picnic and spend the day enjoying the stunning Countryside.
- Top Tip: Take the number 78 bus from the city centre and Breeze up to Stanmer Park. More information on the Breeze Bus Routes can be found on the Brighton & Hove City Council website
Head back in the city and end the day with some seriously good pizza at Fatto a Mano
