Tide Mills Choir and Milton Hide - an evening of song

About

Join us for an evening of song with all profits after expenses going to the charity Mind (charity 219830).

The Tide Mills choir have teamed up with singer songwriter duo, Milton Hide, to bring you an evening of live music inspired by the people, landscapes and stories of the local area.

Tide Mills Choir is an open access community choir based in Newhaven, singing an eclectic mix of acapella songs in multiple harmony.

Milton Hide are Jim Tipler and Jo Church of Wilmington, performing on guitar, clarinet and percussion with the occasional banjo thrown in.

The concert will also feature the first ever live performance of a brand new song written especially for the choir by Milton Hide.

As part of a lottery funded project called Your Stories In Song, Milton Hide have been gathering stories from audiences throughout the South East and writing songs inspired by some of those stories. They will perform some of these songs and tell the stories behind them. Then it's your chance to share your stories and be part of the live song writing experience on the night.

All profits will be donated to the charity Mind (charity 219830).

Doors at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
Please bring cash for the refreshments and raffle.
