About
Deborah Levy is one of the most significant writers of her generation. She is a two-time Booker shortlisted novelist, non-fiction author, poet and playwright, and in her latest collection 'The Position of Spoons and Other Intimacies', she provides a compelling portrait of her writing life against the backdrop of the muses that have shaped her, from Marguerite Duras, to Colette, Lee Miller and Paula Rego.
From her childhood in South Africa, to her place at the forefront of the British cultural landscape, Deborah Levy has always sought out opportunities to hone her craft.
Join her in conversation with psychoanalyst and Professor of Modern Literary Theory at Goldsmiths, Josh Cohen as she invites us into her world, sharing some of her most intimate thoughts and experiences.
