The day will begin with an exclusive tour of Charleston's beautiful walled garden, led by one of Charleston's knowledgeable gardeners. As you gather inspiration from the diverse flora, you'll discover the botanicals that can be incorporated into your attar and how they influence scent.
Guided by Nancy's expert nose and extensive experience as a Brighton-based perfumer, you'll engage in the unique practice of 'sensing through scent.' As you explore various aromatic ingredients, Nancy will introduce you to the fundamentals of personalised perfume-making, helping you to discover how different notes interact and harmonise to create your signature fragrance.
By the end of this immersive workshop, you will leave with your own bottled personal fragrance, beautifully labeled with your own signature name; a truly unique keepsake that reflects your individuality.
The workshop includes an exclusive tour of the modernist home and studio at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creations to life.
