Nasty Little Lonely
NLL are a Brighton-based industrial/psych/grunge 3 piece. Formerly resident in Bristol, they released an album ‘Rack and Ruin’, 2 EPs and 4 singles to critical acclaim. Vocalist/bass player Charlie Beddoes was originally a founder member of 90s bands Rub Ultra and No Santa, and has played bass for many artists including Trash Palace (with Brian Molko) and more recently, Lodestar (with members of 90s rap-rockers Senser).

Following a move to Brighton in 2018, NLL took a 5-year hiatus. 2023 saw their return and a new line-up; Charlie has now been joined by Steve Collett (Rub Ultra and V8 Pack) on guitar and John Briginshaw on drums and samples.

Their new single ‘Butterflies’ is released on streaming platforms on 11th October 2024. It’s a cathartic, churning slab of noise with themes of rebirth, re-invention and retribution.

Nasty Little Lonely creates music that provides the soundtrack to your darkest dreams, of post-apocalyptic decadence, discarded trappings of consumerism gone awry, alienation and small furry creatures with very sharp teeth.
For followers of Nine Inch Nails, The Jesus Lizard, Queen Adreena and of course, Rub Ultra!
