Maypoles to Mistletoe

About

Maypoles to Mistletoe tracks the year through folk song, narration, Morris dance, music and tradition. The format begins with Spring and Summer for the first half and then Autumn and Winter ending the show. This was first performed back in 1972 and some of the original cast are still with us in the shape of The Broadwood Men, Arkies Toast and we were later joined by the Magog Morris ladies this has continued each year at the Yuletide, excepting two years while the covid pandemic prevailed. We are so delighted to be performing this again and people say that their Christmas does not start until they have seen Maypoles to Mistletoe.
