About

Nigel Hall's drawing and sculptural work has an affinity with sound and music. In this lunchtime movement session in Nigel's Here and Now, There and Then exhibition, we will listen and - if you so wish - move to a piece of music that Nigel sees as an influence on his work. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to share the visual, auditory and kinaesthetic experience just experienced, thinking about the relationship between sculpture, sound and movement. No special movement or sound skills required - everyone who wishes to can participate just as they are. This is a drop-in, free event. Meet inside Studio 2 on the ground floor. We have a budget available to make this event as accessible as possible - this can include interpretation services or other access needs we can meet to enable you to participate. If you require access arrangements, please email two weeks before the event date so that we can book a service if needed.About Christian BergmannChristian has been part of the Towner Front of House team since March 2020. When not at Towner, he is often found on Eastbourne beach, walking, resting, taking photos and video shorts. He is very interested in the interplay of spontaneous movement and stillness, both in nature and in human expression.
