After the wonderful launch to the HOLD BACK THE NIGHT session at The KoKo Club recently, we were overwhelmed at the positive response and the clamour for the next event......so we're doing it again - but on a groovy Sunday afternoon!
We'll be back at The KoKo where we know we are guaranteed the perfect atmosphere to listen and dance to Soul Gems from that wonderful era from 1970 through to the mid 80s. You'll hear classic cuts and forgotten treasures....and some really cutting edge stuff missed by so many on this side of the pond. You'll hear the likes of Marvin Gaye, The Trammps, The O'Jays, The Ohio Players, War, Roy Ayers and countless others that you didn't know you'd forgotten all about it.
You can get out your flares, tank tops, platforms, shoulder pads etc., and put on your Big Hair or mullets with perhaps a splash of Aramis or Estee Lauder Youth Dew....you know what I'm talking about!
