About

In 1970, renowned writer/composer/lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale ‘A Christmas Carol’ into the hit screen musical Scrooge and in 1992 into a Stage musical.

Scrooge! follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly man who despises Christmas and its season of giving. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of the consequences of his ways. Throughout the night, Scrooge encounters three more spirits who show him his past, present, and a grim future if he doesn’t change.
Scrooge! is a celebration of the meaning of Christmas and the joy that comes from spreading goodwill.

Featuring songs like ‘Thank You Very Much’, December the 25th’, ‘The Beautiful Day’ and ‘The Ministers Cat’, this is a wonderful feel-good (in the end) musical that appeals to all ages.
