About

ENTER A WORLD OF PURE IMAGINATION…..

Following on from their hugely successful run of ‘Kinky Boots’, EODS are proud to announce they will be presenting the musical ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’ at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, in April 2025.

With Gareth Brighton as Director, Naomi Wareham as Choreographer and Oscar Smith as Musical Director, the show is based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl. The musical of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Mark Shaiman, with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film, with songs from the motion picture including, ‘Candy Man’, ‘I’ve Got a Golden Ticket’, ‘Oompa Loompa Song’ and ‘Pure Imagination’.
