About
Dawn Landes is a Kentucky born singer-songwriter now living in Brooklyn, NY. Her fourth and newest album Bluebird features guest appearances by Norah Jones and members of Bon Iver.
She has toured extensively in the US, Europe and around the world, often supporting artists such as Ray Lamontagne and Bryan Ferry. In the studio she has collaborated with Bonnie Prince Billy, Justin Townes Earle and composer Nico Muhly.
Her songs have been featured in commercials, popular ?lms and TV shows, including The Good Wife and House. Landes has performed with The Boston Pops, NYC Ballet and recently at the TED Conference in Vancouver, BC, highlighting her forthcoming musical ROW. In 2015 she was invited to join Sufjan Stevens in his touring band.
Dawn recently announced that she has signed with Yep Roc (Grant-Lee Phillips, Josh Rouse, The Sadies, Robyn Hitchcock), who will release her fifth album later this year.
