About
The Lamb Comedy night is delighted to welcome back Sam Savage with her full length comedy show Looking For Linda after her fantastic reception at our triple bill night with Zoe Lyons and Angela Barnes last spring.
With comedy from Brighton favourite Dan Fardell and regular Jo Neary, there's something for everyone at Eastbourne's longest running alternative comedy night (est. 2009). A show in two halves with an interval. Booking in advance strongly advised. (Please note, it's a Friday again, well be back to Saturdays next month..)
About Looking For Linda:
This show is unlike anything you've ever seen (if you've never seen anything). Linda Larkin is housewife philosopher Guess Who champion 2015, and owns a talking guinea pig. She believes the world can be saved with love and gossip. Join her on a journey of comedy nonsense and hold onto your hat.
'Linda Larkin is a great character. The sort of believable oddball around which sitcoms are based' (Chortle.co.uk).
'Utterly Convincing' (Bruce Dessau).
Excellent. Her punchlines were as hilariously off-kilter as they were well-devised Three Weeks
'She writes proper jokes' Jenny Eclair
'There is a relaxed, friendly demeanour about Sam Savage giving the impression there is nowhere else she would rather be' Three weeks
'Upbeat and endearing' Chortle
'Sharp and funy' Three weeks
'Cleverly constructed jokes' Three weeks
'She's a comedy natural Chortle
Line ups are subject to last minute change when there are circumstances beyond our control. We are usually very fortunate in being able to go ahead as planned, but will always endeavour to find excellent acts to step in. Thank you for your understanding.
