We're feeling the Festive Vibes as we look forward to Christmas Events in Brighton & Sussex.

New for this year is the Brighton Winter Fayre featuring a free to enter Christmas Market; a varied entertainment programme for kids & adults and of course Santa's Grotto. We are also looking forward to the return of Burning the Clocks, the lantern parade marking the shotest day of the year.

There will be big shows at Brighton Dome, Theatre Royal Brighton and the Brighton Centre as well as fun for all the family at the magical Royal Pavilion Ice Rink or spotting the cheeky mice at Brighton Museum.

Fans of light trails will be spoilt for choice with Brighton Lights at Stanmer Park as well as Sussex trails Leonardslee Illuminated and Glow Wild at Wakehurst.

Join us this December for the all-new Brighton Winter Fayre at St Peter’s Square. Spanning over three festive weekends, this magical event offers something for everyone.
Burning the Clocks

The dark grip of long wintry nights is broken by a flicker of light. Started in 1993, Burning the Clocks represents an alternative to the commercial Christmas. Thousands of people gather to make paper lanterns to carry through the city before burning them on the beach as a token for the end of the year and to greet the lengthening days.
