This popular creative workshop explores how to recreate the distinctive Charleston look by decorating your own wooden box. Melissa White will guide you through an exploration of mark-making, using chalk paints, and clever ideas for experimenting with pattern, shape and texture. You'll finish off your personal box by distressing and waxing it to create an antique look and feel.
The workshop includes an exclusive tour of the modernist home and studio at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creations to life. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a delicious lunch made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
