About

An all Star line up including Alan Barnes (baritone sax), Andy Panayi (alto sax), Sam Miles (tenor sax) Terry Seabrook (piano) and Pete Cater (drums) provides the backbone for this project playing music from Oliver Nelson's seminal jazz album Blues And The Abstract Truth and the follow-up album More Blues And The Abstract Truth. Nelson's intricate arrangements suit this 3 saxophone line up together with Chris Coull on trumpet. The Rhythm section is led by Pete and joined by Terry Seabrook on piano and Paul Whitten on bass.
